Use the numbers from your own forwarder. The calculator does not use our rates, because rates move with the season, the port and the carrier.
| Up to 15% | good - freight does not decide your margin |
| 15-30% | acceptable - raise the quantity or consolidate |
| Over 30% | warning - the goods value is working for the carrier, not for you |
Both figures are the freight for one item divided by its value. A full container is usually quoted on volume and a loose load on weight, which is why the two numbers move in opposite directions as an order grows.
